# Webinar R**emote Access and Identity Verification in light of the new European regulations**

In this webinar we dug into one of the questions every property manager in Europe is asking right now: is your business ready for a compliance landscape that keeps tightening? Because in 2026 the challenge isn't just filling bookings, it's keeping up with new regulations, from Italy's stricter guest registration rules to growing requirements across other markets, that are raising the bar for how hosts verify guests and grant access.

That's why we sat down with the experts from Chekin and igloohome to show, live, how secure identity verification and automated remote access work together in practice.

We walked through the full guest journey, from verifying who your guest really is to granting and revoking access automatically, and covered the year's biggest questions. How the new European regulations are reshaping guest verification and access requirements, and what they mean for your business. How to verify guest identity remotely and securely, in line with the latest legal standards. How the Chekin × igloohome integration automates remote access from booking to check-out. And how to stay compliant across multiple markets without piling on manual work, with best practices for a safe, frictionless experience that protects both hosts and guests.
