What's the difference between a deposit and a damage protection plan?
A deposit is an amount collected at check-in and refunded after check-out, used to cover potential damages. The damage protection plan is a fixed fee charged to each guest that provides deductible-free cover for accidental and intentional damage, theft and more. You can use one, the other, or both.
How is damage reported with the protection plan?
If something is damaged, you report it from your Chekin dashboard. The resolution happens without involving the guest.
